Welcome and thank you for inquiring about the Santa Clara Vanguard (SCV) and Vanguard Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps! The Santa Clara Vanguard organization has been dedicated to developing the best drum corps in the activity for over 40 years. Here you will be able to find information on the SCV organization, schedules, audition info, etc.

The following information will provide you with some essential information for you to become a member of the Vanguard or Vanguard Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps. You will need to attend one of the auditions in order to have a chance for a spot in the Vanguard. If you are traveling from outside the state of California and are unsure of your chances, you may send a video audition. We will provide some constructive criticism and let you know whether you should travel to California for an audition or not. The video audition does not replace the actual audition, nor can we guarantee we can view your video audition before the in person auditions.
